Fantastic carved figural newel post. Stripped with 90 percent paint removed. Very unique post purchase in Buffalo NY. I believe the wood to be chestnut. Great for use in staircase or in newel post collection. Approximate measurements: 56 7/8″tall x 12 3/4″ x 7″base.
